Summertime And The Living Is Easy

Here's some random summer pictures of Kamryn and Trentin.

Due to Lack of Interest

Due to a lack of something Maggie hasn't updated her blog forever! I'm gonna update a few pictures and tell a little of what is going on.

1. Troy finished his power plant courses and hopefully will have the opportunity to go to work at one of the power plants. His work has been really slow.

2. Kamryn is growing like a weed. Her fun personality is really starting to show. You never know what she is going to say or do. She is basically potty trained only sleeps in a diaper to prevent accidents. She LOVES going potty in the toilet. She loves bubble baths in Grandma's bath tub. She loves Batman, Spiderman, and Disney videos. She loves to be read to. She loves to be chased and to chase Sadie Sue. Yesterday she had my camera and was telling Sadie "say cheese, Sadie Sue" and we ended up with pictures of one of Sadie's legs, the trees, the sky, the grass, my arm but none of Sadie Sue saying cheese :o( Gunnar "Gunnie" is one of her most favorite people in the world. She loves to talk on the phone, and we let her call Ed, "Nenna", Gunnie and sometimes Tad. Her hair is finally starting to grow and is about the same color that Jenna's was when she was Kamryn's age.

3. Trentin is pulling up to everything and will soon be walking. He is almost 11 months old and is the sweetest little boy you ever saw. He loves to be into things and keeps Kamryn busy running herd on him. He has dark hair and big blue eyes. When you pick him up to move him from something that you don't want him into, he starts kicking his feet. He is a drama queen and really lets you know when he's mad. It is funny to watch him put his head down and get this serious stance when he's getting ready to crawl - like "out of my way". He has looks that remind me of Don's baby pictures - only Don was a little thinner in the face. Oh yah...when he knows you don't want him into something, you can't keep him out. He is determined.

4. February 9th will be the one year mark for when Kathy (Troy's mom) passed away. It almost doesn't seem possible that it has been that long. I know that Troy and the girls miss her.

5. Troy celebrated his #30 birthday on December 3rd and then he and Maggie celebrated their #3 Anniversary on the 10th.

Well, somebody's gotta do it

Lots going on at the Lewis household, so much that there is NEVER a single minute to post. So Grandma is posting pictures so that interested on-lookers have an idea what her family looks like.

Where Did Maggie Go?

Empty blog? Must be that Maggie is NOT doing her job. Ask her to tell her story of her bathroom renovation and the trauma of having to live with her dear, sweet mother...

Blessing Trentin

Troy blessed Trentin on Sunday. He did such an awesome job and the blessing was so good. Trentin was so good during it too. Tin Tin looked so cute in his blessing outfit and was so happy. Afterwards we all ate dinner it was a good Sunday. Jenna & Weston came for the blessing and we went on a quad ride and a picnic to Slade Lake- it was pretty fun. As all of you from Eagar know that when the carnival comes to town it is a BIG deal and I was very excited. I love carnivals. ( I know I'm a dork) I made Kara and David go with me Friday night, they both got sick. Then Saturday I went with Tad Jenna & Weston and Jenna and Weston ended up sick. Troy's dad also came Thursday & Friday we had a barbeque and big bon-fire at our house. It was fun for everyone to get to know each other, So this was a busy weekend but it was fun!

Ok, she's not gonna do it so Mom will...

We will use the excuse that Maggie is sooo busy with a two year old and a new born, but come on, how long can you milk that one? We can use the excuse that she doesn't know how to update the blog, but how hard can it be when I figured it out?

Here's what's been going on at the Lewis household. 1) Trentin is growing like a weed and will be three months old soon. He isn't much of a traveler, but did quite well for the Allred Family Reunion.

Bailey promised to keep it under her hat, but it looks like Grandma let the secret out!

2) Troy started a new job the end of April, still building, but with Jeremy Krause. Troy just finished up the Power Plant course at NPC and hopes to get on at one of the power plants.

3) Troy's dad who has been working in Louisiana is due to come through Eagar this week and they are so excited to see him. It will be the first time that Kris has seen Trentin and the second time that he has seen Kamryn. We will post pics of the Lewis family at a later date.

4) Kamryn just turned 2 on Monday. She is one busy little girl.

5) The Lewis family attended the Allred Family Reunion in the Valley over Memorial Day weekend. We all had fun seeing each other. It was good to see Uncle Doug & Aunt Caroline from California and to see all of the cousins.
